The Family Vision Clinic has been providing

the early sixties. With four locations in Halifax and

The Doctors at the Family Vision Clinic also
know the importance of expanding their knowledge and education,
and provide additional specialized services. Beginning in 2001,
the clinics were able to treat infections with antibiotics and
antihistamines after Practice Partners Dr. Miriam Debly & Dr.
Michael Oulahen took a
Therapeutic Pharmaceutical course at the University of California.
Other specialties include the fitting of extended wear contact
lenses, pre-operative and post-operative care of TLC and Nova
Vision laser surgery patients, and Paragon Corneal Refractive
Therapy - an alternative to glasses, daytime contact lenses and
laser surgery.
Family Vision Clinic also
represents some well know eyecare brands – including Focus contact
lenses, Varilux progressive lenses, and Crizal
anti-reflective lenses.
The Practice also believes in
giving back to the community – and created an FVC Cookbook with
all proceeds going to support The Run For The Cure and Breast
Cancer Research. This year FVC Run For The Cure team raised over
$1700.
